About Agriculture Department Government of Punjab

The main functions of agriculture department are arboricultural Operations, Adaptive Research and Research Farms, Soil Fertility and Soil Conservation etc.

Agriculture is a major contribute to Provincial economy, and it is main source of livelihood and sustenance for the poor.

Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab has established in “Agriculture Delivery Unit (ADU) comprising of a body of competitive individuals who closely work with the department to work on multi-dimensional line e.g. policy analysis, strategic planning, data analysis, identifying issues and challenges of Agriculture Sector and also work as quick response unit on emergency issues.

In this regards, Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore is looking for dynamic competent individuals on market based salaries initially for a period upto June 2018 (extendable for a further period of one years based on excellent performance) for the following positions.

General Instructions:

The contract appointments are temporary in nature, non-transferable, job/post specific, non-pensionable and conferring no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be for the project period, which can be extended with the approval of competent authority.

Retired persons are not eligible. The persons who are already in Government service including contract employees should apply through proper channel. In case of selection, a confirmed civil servant shall retain his lien against his original substantive post as per rule.

The recruitment will be made strictly on merit on all Punjab basis in accordance with the rules, selection criteria and other provisions of Recruitment Policy and Contract Appointment Policy, 2004.

The applicants should clearly indicate the post applied for on one side of envelope along with CV, three passport size recent photograph and attested copies of all the relevent documents, CNIC / certificate / degrees detail mark sheet, which include provisional certificates indicated CGPA (if applicable), Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
