Pakistan Host ICC World XI, Sri Lanka and West Indies
After long time and many efforts towards long awaited revival of international cricket in Pakistan when PCB (Pakistan cricket Board) chairman Najam Sethi revealed that West Indies and Sri Lanka Boards agreed to tour for T-Twenty Internationals. ICC world XI side also will be visited in the next month of September’ 2017 which will be top players of the world.
PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) and West Indian Board both made the announcement and planned three T-20 match series.
ICC World XI and Sri Lanka have agreed to tour the Pakistan and now big achievement is that West Indies also agree to tour Pakistan in Last weeks of November for three T-20 International matches in Lahore.
The ICC World XI will be visiting Lahore in mid of September’ 2017. In the ICC World XI squat world top players are included.
These tours are seen as big step towards Pakistan once again hosting major international events after militants targeted the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore in 2009.
After this attacks Pakistan has hosted a series against Zimbabwe in 2015. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and West Indies and Ireland refuse the offers for the security fears during last year’s. Pakistan has been forced to play in UAE for last eight years. The last two match of Pakistan Supper League (PSL) also were playing in the UAE.
In March’ 2017 Pakistan successfully hosted the Pakistan Supper League (PSL) final in Lahore with some International players that is Dawid Malan, Chris Jordan, Darren Sammy , Marlon Samuels , Morne van Wyk and Sean Ervine.
These tours will be subject to the safe finish of ICC World XI team’s series. Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) Chairman said!
